Tampa fans, what's the deal with Gomes???

Postby Hitdogman » Wed Aug 16, 2006 5:18 pm

Any insight on the injury to Johnny Gomes? I've read about his strained rotator cuff and how he plans to rest it and possibly have off season surgery to repair it.

But I also read that he says he feels fine even after being 5-77 since the All Star break. And the team isn't looking to bench him any time soon.

Very odd

He's 5 and 77 now? Sheesh, I am glad I gave up on him awhile ago.....

He said his injury is not bothering him, but who knows. If this isn't a keeper, then just drop him.

Because some people own him and what to know what happened to this guy after being so good for the first couple months. ;-D

Almost bought him pretty high too. Glad the trade didn't happen though.
