Carlos Lee or Manny Ramirez this week?

I am 1.5 points out of first place, and its absolutely crunch time. I am 3 runs behind the leader, 8 hits in front, and 3 steals back. I have NO real stolen base threat other than Beltran.

My thoughts are that Lee has been hitting 2nd and he stole 3 bases last week. I need runs and steals so I'm thinking of benching Manny for Lee, but its so hard to hit the submit button for Manny Ramirez.... you know what I mean?

What would you do?

p.s. Lee plays 7 games to Ramirez's 6 this week

If you need steals, then Lee might be your guy but is there really no one else to sit besides Manny? 8-o

Yeah, can you post your roster? You might be able to sub Manny in for another player if we could have a look...

By the way, tough loss on Saturday. Oklahoma is a good team, y'all played well. I'll be in Tuscaloosa for the Hog Bama game later this month...

First of all: Welcom to the Cafe' RollTide! ;-D

Now to business at hand. We really need to see your roster for this question. Benching Manny is very, very tough. Maybe your 3rd OF or a utility position guy would be a better bench than Manny. We know your second OF is Beltran, but we don't know the rest. Please post your roster and we'll see if we can figure something out. ;-)

thanks for the replies guys. Giving you my line-up would have helped out...its Beltran and Puljos as my other outfielders. Ended up going with Manny Ramirez for the week after all, its just to tough to sit him.

To the guy from Arkansas, hope you make it down here for the game. And please beat Auburn for us

Beating Auburn "shouldn't" be that difficult now. They are lying pretty low right now and are quite tamed. Did you hear what Corso said on ESPN??? "War Pigeon" HA HA HA HA HA... I love it!!!

It might have been better to shift Pujols to 1st or 3rd and sitting that position player instead. ;-)

I don't know your roster, but it might have been worth a shot.
