This fearless pack of Turtles -- the core of my SB production --swiped a grand total of ONE stolen base the entire week.

Their entire output was matched by none other than "Jet-Powered Jason" Vertitek giving me a grand total of two.

Is it time to finally cut Pierre?

I'm not cutting Pierre. He's still hitting and scoring. The steals will come.

I noticed that "Jet-Powered Varitek" stole a base today. Thought it was funny. :-)

I'm in a similar situation but I guess I got luckier ...

My speed demons this week: Soriano (3), Crawford (2), Podsednik (2), Renteria (1). Even Aubrey Huff and Pujols stole me a base this week. :-)

everyone has had a bad stretch this year. the point is be patient with your players.

Pierre has hit .323 over the last week with 6 runs scored. Not what I'd call a slump.

Pierre has hit .323 over the last week with 6 runs scored. Not what I'd call a slump.

very true, but i'd benched him before he'd hit the HR. needed speed, which pierre wasn't giving me. then he goes and hits a HR, which id've liked as well.
