Who do you guys think is the worst team in the majors? And also which team has the worst furture (roster wise) ahead of them? Here is my list:
Royals- They've been flat out horrible for some years now. PROS: Teahen, DeJesus, Berroa and German.
Cubs- I think the name speaks for itself. Wood and Prior should just retire. PROS: Lee, Murton, Zambrano, Barrett and Ramirez.
Pirates- They have some good players but no a ton of veterans. PROS: Sanchez, Duke, Gonzalez, Castillo and Bay.
Devil Rays- Their bullpen is horrid and they traded Lugo. PROS: Kazmir, Cantu, Upton, Crawford, Gomes and Baldelli.
Giants- They have a ton of free agents at the end of the year so that's why I put them on here. PROS: Schmidt, Wright, Durham, Feliz and Cain. List of Giants free agents at the end of this season: Jason Schmidt, Barry Bonds, Moises Alou, Steve Finley, Ray Durham, Pedro Feliz, Todd Greene, Shea Hillenbrand, Steve Kline, Mike Stanton and Jamey Wright.
This is in no paticular order.

The rays have "Talent" god knows if it ever develops. I will trust the new Orignization, but up until this year we had the worst orginization running our team by far.
Orioles have enough to not be considered one of the worst teams, with Mora, Bedard, Patterson, Hernandez, Roberts, Ray, Gibbons, and Tejada holding it all together.
The Cubs were looking to contend this year with Lee and a healthy Prior and Wood, so going into next year, I wouldn't consider them as one of the worst teams as all. As long as they have Zambrano leading the rotation and the possibility of having Prior and Wood as their 2 and 3, they'll contend in the NL with their lineup. Pierre, Jacque, Lee, Aramis, and Barrett isn't bad at all.
My vote would go towards the Pirates since they're bad now and the future doesn't look bright. Giants shouldn't be pretty too since all of their older players (most of their roster) are starting to break down a little bit and Schmidt's tenure there may not be much longer.
