guess he doesnt care much considering he wont be there next year.

How do you think he lost Woods and Prior?

i didnt know Tiger signed with the Cubs. :-?

anyways......Webb definetly has the upper hand here and would take a great turn of the tides to not win it.

you can say that about a lot of pitchers

That's the point.

I'm iffy on Zambrano for Cy Young..before August I think I was a lot more for it, his last 3 starts have been somewhat ugly. I've had him on my keeper league the last few years...and I can honestly say that the dominate stretch that I've become accustomed to with him just has yet to appear - his walks are up this year (more BBs this year then his previous two already) Meanwhile his K's seem to be about on par...I only saw him pitch one game this season..I think it was against the Mets (in NY it's either the Mets or Braves) during which he did intentionally walk/pitch around a few guys...so maybe it's smart pitching, or just being on/off? Regardless. If he has the best stats come the end of the season, I'm for it - right now though it's not looking promising -

What?
I think what he said is "I really like strikeouts and I deny the existance of Brandon Webb, Chris Carpenter, and Jason Schmidt" :-D
