I don't care where he plays. He deserves every award in baseball the way Chicago sports worships this guy.

Also, the guy has a 0.00 ERA on the year. Can't beat that.

I own Todd Jones in a couple of leagues, and while the save totals are great, I wouldn't even consider giving him a Cy. :-o

I've been ripping Jones mercilessly since the season began. And as a Tiger fan I'm absolutely delighted to be wrong. I still think he's doing it largely with smoke and mirrors -- but he is doing it.

You learn something new every year in baseball. Jones has taught me the value of throwing first-pitch strikes. It may not be fast. It may not move much but it's over the plate and most guys stand there and watch it go by. He starts from a position of strength. This is fairly conventional baseball wisdom, but Jones is a great example of how it can make a pitcher with sub-stellar stuff a viable arm.
