Question about Yahoo H2H play-offs...

Postby bryan1327 » Sun Sep 07, 2003 9:46 pm

I have been asked by one of my team owners...His play off game, as it says in the stat tracker..is a dead tie at 6-6...I have been looking about yahoo to see how they do the tie breakers in this case to see who moves on to the next round...I have found no answer...

Can any one help me out on this one?...

Thanks...

If you go to the Fantasy Baseball homepage, you should see a RULES tab. Look there. For the playoffs, I believe that Team ERA is the first tiebreaker.

I just got this off of the rules page:

Tiebreak System << Previous | Next >>

If, at the end of the regular season, two or more players in a Head-to-Head League finish tied in the standings (based on a Games Behind calculation), the following system will be used to break the tie and determine playoff seedings:

Overall winning percentage.

Highest winning percentage in Week 22.

Highest winning percentage in Week 21.

Highest winning percentage in Week 20.

Highest winning percentage in Week 19.

Highest winning percentage in Week 18.

Highest winning percentage in Week 17.

Highest winning percentage in Week 16.

Highest winning percentage in Week 15.

Highest winning percentage in Week 14.

Highest winning percentage in Week 13.

Highest winning percentage in Week 12.

Highest winning percentage in Week 11.

Highest winning percentage in Week 10.

Highest winning percentage in Week 9.

Highest winning percentage in Week 8.

Highest winning percentage in Week 7.

Highest winning percentage in Week 6.

Highest winning percentage in Week 5.

Highest winning percentage in Week 4.

Highest winning percentage in Week 3.

Highest winning percentage in Week 2.

Highest winning percentage in Week 1.

Random "coin flip."

In the event that a playoff game ends in a tie, the deadlock will be broken using the following system:

Lowest team ERA.

Highest team AVG.

Lowest team WHIP.

Most team HR.

Most team Wins.

Most team RBI.

Most team Saves.

Most team Runs.

Most team SO.

Most team SB.

Random "coin flip."
