We've heard all the kudos to MGarza but I was wondering what everyone thought about JHirsch and how he compares to him?

How would u rank him in terms of young SPs on their way up?
Tell me what to expect from him?

He's 24 and went 13-2 in 22 starts with a 2.13 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and had a 8.57 K/9 and a decent 2.275 K/BB ratio for AAA Round Rock. Hirsh also gave up just 5 HR in 137.1 innings during that time. Granted, he gave up 3 on Saturday, but that could just be nerves.

If you're desperate for starting pitching, throw a claim at him. Nothing more's really coming for the rest of the year.

Im looking to the future. And how he compares with other young stud arms like Garza, Bailey, Miller.

Or might he be more comparable to a Pelfry etc.

No1 SP? 2,3?

I don't think of Hirsh as more than a potential #2 SP, but I may just not know enough about him.
