Real baseball has its "Dog Days" this month. Is your league -- or are you personally -- going through a lull with your FB team?
I'm in a one-point battle for first -- lead changes hands almost nightly -- but I'm still not as charged up/involved as I was in April and May. Anyone else suffer from a drop in interest this time of year?
For me this happens when my moves get more tactical ("I need to move up one place in RBIs") rather than strategic ("I need to improve my offense"). Hard to make bold strategic moves this time of the year.
i'm totally going through it...i'm tied for the final playoff spot in my H2H and about 10 points out of my 5x5...but i just feel so wore down i'm not putting forth much of an effort in either
This is exactly why I love fantasy baseball over all other fantasy sports (except probably fantasy soccer). I'm cruising in a good chunk of my leagues, but I'm in some dogfights in my most competitive leagues. Plus, I'm sure that most of us are prepping for the upcoming fantasy football year too, and so you've got some multitasking to do, with work being a backdrop to it all.
I'm not sure if this is what you're asking, but after a while, i do get a little weary of checking it day-in, day-out. But the good part is the fact that it is indeed a marathon. I had a really slow start to my season, but have been fortunate enough to hit a nice win streak, and am rightfully back in 1st place.
It really makes me see how baseball players get worn out over the course of an entire season.
Not bored here. Just gearing up for the stretch run.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Fantasy Soccer? How does one possibly score that when the teams barely score as many goals as games played?
Anyways, I have been just as involved to this point as any other.. in fact probably moreso than April and May, which seem to be the slowest time. At that point I'm usually waiting to see what kind of team I have and then spend June and July making it better. August is slower than July for roto teams but H2H you have to be on your game to make the playoffs.
