...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

I've got accounts practically everywhere. Pacific was very good to me when I played there.
What I lack is the free time to play. I'll open up a cash table here and there, but that's simply to take the easy money without having to really watch what's going on.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Won a 180 player sit and go at Pokerstars tonight. Wasn't high stakes or anything, only a $4+.40 entry fee, but first paid $216.00, so I can't really complain either. Not to mention it's the first time I've played a sit and go in quite some time.
Anyway, thought I'd toss a happy one into this thread.

I used to enjoy those when I had money on Stars. I used to play them a few times a week, and cashed in a good amount. My top 2 finishes were 3rd and 4th for 85 and 56 respectively. Too bad it wasn't first - 216 is so much sweeter.
i hate stupid players who call all ins with bottom pair just because they have pockets.. i flop top two pair with AQ on a flop of AQ9 or something.. guy calls with his pocket 8s when i push all in.. catches his 8 on the turn.. just stupidly anoying
was a live 120 sit and go at the casino, top 3 get paid, i keep coming in 4th or 5th and im basically broke from it

We'll you've got to love that and hate it. You hate it when his two outer hits and he gets paid off, but if people consistently do that to you, you are consistently going to win in the long run. You've to just play through it and realize that people calling you with 2 outs is a (while sometimes annoying) great thing for you.

Well...if you're playing with good players, everyone will fold with that strong a bet and pocket eights. The player only called, giving you a good chance for all of his chips because he isn't a smart player. Are you complaining that everyone didn't fold or that he hit the 9% (slightly higher since 10-J would have also won for him)? Either way, you were only given the chance at all of his chips because he wasn't a smart player. If you're going to be playing with players like that all the time, keep what you're doing because it will pay off. That said, I wouldn't be too upset because he was a slight favorite pre-flop.
