I don't know where the correct forum is to ask this question, but anyone give or receive a sports related grooms gift? I was thinking of giving my grooms men personalized jerseys, but they were going to be 110 a pop. I have 10 people standing up so that's out of the question. Anyone have any ideas on my little problem?
Seriously though...what about something like a zippo lighter or flask with their initials and their favorite team logo. I know zippos are made with team logos on them.
You could buy them tickets to a game. That way they can sit around and reminisce about how Hitman used to be able to go to the games before he put on the leash.

That's a good one if some or all live in different towns too..good excuse to get the group back together.
10 people is a lot. Even a pair of tickets for each guy is going to be expensive. Not sure if you guys are into fights or if you live close enough but you could always throw a sports-related party for them. Order the next Boxing/UFC/Pride PPV, supply the beer and food. You could do that for about $200 which would only be $20 a head.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

20 bucks each to your groomsman? the same guys who are gonna end up dropping anywhere from 500 to a 1000 bucks on or for the groom in a months time? that's cheapo.
a buddy of mine is getting married in 2 weeks, 32 people not including the bride and groom standing up!
Ok, I have to ask as my curiosity is now peaked....
1) 32 people????? Please explain that one.
2) Groomsmen spend 500 to 1000 on the groom? For what? I got ripped off then! My guys didn't spend but MAYBE $300 combined, including tuxes, gas, liquor, etc.
I need more wealthy pals.
Course, our wedding stuff was mostly trade outs and family & friends cooking or DJing or whatever they do, so I put out almost no cash.

1. 15 people standing up on each side. 1 ring bearer 1 flower girl. she's very very italian so like half of her family is standing up on his side. it's silly, gonna end up being like 650+ guests! gonna be a great time.
2. and maybe youre right about wedding prices, guess it depends on the groups.
