hey guys

I dont want to sound like some nerdy teacher, but if any of you are serious about design (If you are doing it in school/career later on whatever) take a type/typography/text class if at all possible.

It is really a sweet experience.

I took typography I&II and it helped me immensely because you do nothing but design with fonts. It doesn't make me better, and please don't take it that way, I am just telling you my experience.

IF it isn't possible to take a class, then just study art that is type heavy. Study fonts, test angles, sizes, the white and black space, serifs/sanserif. Make a sig with nothing but type... make a poster etc.

Hey RSN, I think I figured out why your text always looks choppy. When you have the text tool selected, look for an aa thing at the top. It's probably set to Normal. On the drop down menu, select Smooth and your text should look better.
