If you take his HR and RBI pace and extrapolate it over 162 games it would be 38HR and 153RBI. Sounds "average" to me o_O
And about the Padres. Just food for thought. Before their current series with Houston they had a .534 WP since 6/28. If they had that WP the whole season they would have been 1 game out of the NL WC. Not too shabby for a team that has seen its top 4 paid players play less than 50% of total possible games. They will certainly add a veteran ace over the winter to anchor the rotation Lawrence/Eaton/Peavy. They will probably go after a catcher as well, Kendall, Varitek, and J. Lopez being the prime candidates. Going after a shortstop, while not out of the question, is less likely because of Greene.
He might also cost me my season. I told my good friend to pick him up when he had 3rd base troubles. Now I'm playing him in the playoffs and he is biting me in the a**.

If, if, if, if, if and more ifs. Who cares? Nevin is not going to play 162 games this year and he not going to get 38 HRs and 153 RBIs.

153 rbi's? That's a lot of runs scored for Brian Giles. I could use them too! Come on Nevin! You can doooooooooo it!
Sorry, just being silly. It's been really slow here today.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

The key word is IF. If, if, if. I hate the if game. Pace means nothing. If a guy could go 38-153, he would.
