Injuries: A.J. Burnett (season), Matt Morris (was on a bad stretch before he went on the DL with another injury), Josh Beckett, Mark Sweeney.
I've been pretty injury free, although having Morris, Burnett, and Beckett down with a shallow staff hurt deep. But, I didn't know our league had an innings limit, so I had to cut down on innings after starting like ten pitchers a week for the first couple of months. I've rebounded nicely and am in 2nd now (3rd is 0.5 pts behind). Luckily, I was able to acquire both Hudson (Bradley/Carter/Lilly) and Millwood (Pierre/Lincoln) to shore up my staff after the All-Star Break.

Actually, it's unusual for someone to admit that they had a bad draft. Stick to the Cafe' in the offseason. We will have draft strategies and mock drafts to help you have a better draft next year.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
In a NL only league having these players injured has hurt my team.

Trading Giles for millwood in early June then he fell apart for a bit....
Getting on the Dontrelle wagon in late July trading away speed (pierre). Dropped 4 points in steals and Dontrelle who I thought would help me in K's wins, ERA and Whip has hurt me.....
Stealing Guillen off the wire before Griffey got hurt only to have him traded away to the AL.
Madison, thanks for letting that person know about the offseason here....I cant waiut to get some fantays help next year.
