If my trade deadline is tonight, can I pick someone up and trade him today? I'm trying to deal for Ryan Howard, and the guy wants me to include one of my pickups since he's already reached his limit. He wants me to trade one of my moves, can you do that?
Basically, can I pick up someone and trade him today before the deadline? Also, can I trade a "move?" What would be the best way to go?

As far as I know, you should be able to add someone today and trade them today as well... as they are technically on your roster the moment you pick them up.
I think it should work.

Too late, he offered me a trade and wants me to give him a move. Can you transfer moves? Is the move limit going to prevent him from picking up a player, or what? I'm hoping the commish can make the change.

What he's saying is that in his league there is a cap on the number of add/drops that you can do off of the waiver wire. The guy he is trading with has burned through all of his already and wants the OP to include one of his add/drop "rights" in addition to the player.
As far as answering the question, I haven't commished a league on Yahoo so don't know.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

Yep, I'm asking if there's a way to transfer moves, and whether the limit is upheld by Yahoo (will it tell him he can't add players) or is it a commish thing.
