Yeah, he has all the capability of achieving it, it's just a matter of having the right situations arise enough times in those 50 games. I think he has a much better chance at getting the HRs b/c that is something he has more control over. In order for him to get the stolen bases he needs to A.) get on base B.) get a good jump C.)beat the throw. It's no secret that he's out to steal when he gets on 1st. The pitcher and catcher are both aware of this which makes it that much more difficult. Of course, like I said earlier, he could definitly make it, I just don't think things will fall in line for him.

how many more games against the padres? He should get about 5 sb's in thats series if piazza's catching.

i think soriano will try hard to pursue the 40 SBs if he is close since he's playing for a big contract
