i have a bye this week for our playoffs so when I saw that halladay went TEN innings my head almost popped....fortunately those 10 IP only took 99 pitches, as i need him to avoid wearing down (which he looked to be a couple of weeks ago). good thing the jays rewarded him with a W for all of his work!

99 pitches in 10 innings, I don't know about you guys, but this is really good. 3 hit shutout...and 10 innings to boot. Wow!

I forget, Super. Who did they beat that year? :-D Great series, though. I actually wanted the Braves to win it.
I haven't forgotten. John Smoltz battled him through nine and then the Twins got that lucky hit.

I really liked that Braves team. Steve Avery, Mark Lemke, David Justice, Sid Bream, Greg Olson, Tom Glavine..... :,-(

That was one of the best WS games in recent memories. Just awesome.

What Halladay did is awesome. 99 pitches. Awesome.

10 innings, 99 pitches. WOW! Nice Job Mr. Halladay! ;-D

I would have left the decision on the 11th inning up to him if the Jays didn't win it in the bottom of the 10th.
