Sup guys, I am in the market for a new cell phone and am wondering if any phone can accept the page at yahoo fantasy sports. The thing is, I would like to avoid a smartphone if I can, meaning a Treo or a Blackberry. It would be nice to use a slimmer phone, such as a samsung 807, nokia 6126, or ericsson w810i that allows me to see how my team is doing. Adding/dropping players would be cool to. Any info would be great, hopefully this is posted in the right place. Thanks!
if you have fantasy PLUS baseball, you can access it via wap browser which most modern cell phones have. just go to wap.yahoo.com on your phone's browser and sign in.
Are you serious? That sounds cool...unfortunatly we are not a plus league, but my fantasy football league is plus. So i guess I can give that a try for football.
So basically as long as a phone has a 2.0 wap browser I am ok?
Well I was always able to check stats, but what I care about more is adding/dropping players. For instance, if I am driving to work and news breaks that Mariano Rivera just broke his leg while chasing his kids around, I want to pick up Kyle Farnsworth ASAP before someone else does.
I can access nearly any webpage using only my RAZR V3i (still not available in the U.S. ) with Opera Mini. I could be posting this with it. But I'm not.
I do this thing where I wait til I get home; you know, since working all day is an inconvenience in itself (oh, but lucky me, I have internet access there) but, Yahoo has this feature where you can set lineups ahead of time and then check it later.
It's awesome.
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead....
