Maybe some techies know what this means but it doesn't sound good:
Windows - System Error
There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network.
A little background on my setup is that I have a wireless network for my PC only. It is only used because the cable jack is on the other side of the room.
I think that it just means that two computers on your network have been assigned the same IP. Whenever I get that, I just unplug the router and plug it back in. It seems to sort itself out.
Edit- Just saw that it was only one computer. Maybe someone else is using your connection? Not sure.

That can be an issue but it's most likely not a hacker. Even though it's not supposed to happen ISPs do botch up IP assignments. If you've been trucking a long without a hitch and it started all of a sudden then I would call them and explain that your cable/dsl modem is having this problem. Probably shouldn't mention network, seems to freak them out.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Do you have WEP security set up on the connection? If not, it could be that someone else is using it. I wouldn't think it would give you that message if that was the case though.

Not sure. Like I said, that was the only time that I have ever gotten that message. I haven't seen it since I unplugged it.
Most of time, power cycling the router will get rid of stupid error messages like that. Just sounds like a router hiccup. Unless it recurrs frequently, chances are there's not really anything wrong with your network. I highly doubt that it's the result of anyone trying to pick up on your network.
