ours is august 1st. i wouldnt mind it being a week or so earlier either. teams with no chance in non keeper leagues have no reason to make deals.

The only problem is he might not want to give up this link to the entire league....I'm the only one who knows about this board in MY league and I'm pretty damn sure it's the reason I'm 1.5 games out of first place (and with this weeks records right now I'm looking at a .5 lead) in it.
But back on topic, wow. That's all I can say. Wow. Some people are just ***holes.
You're in a league with some jerks. or maybe some just over-reaacted and can be reasoned with... vetoing a trade just because it hurts your chances of beating one of the guys in the trade is something my league, 8 years running now would never do that. We bitch and moan and trash talk all the time, but we wouldn't veto a trade that makes sense to both parties. We might try and make a counter offer before it gets approved, or pull off a similiar trade to counteract the trade, but it's a Gentlemen's agreement that trades go through unless it's collusion, and our league wouldn't do it anyway. We'll try and get the getter end of the deal, deffinitely, but not collusion.
