He's looked pretty good. Has the STL pitching turned him around like he did with Carpenter, Mulder? Assuming STL kept the same pitching coach.

He gave me some pretty bad ratios early on. I feel like grabbing just to see him lower the bad ratios he gave me. :-D :-B

i didnt really watch him in atlanta so i cant say for certain if he is doing anything different. the cards thought his problem was erratic mechanics/problem with his delivery and believed it was correctable. i guess they have gotten him back on track. his stuff looked fairly good to me (good velocity and movement) in the few innings he has pitched for the cards.

I think Mulder is a great guy to resign. I mean he's had his struggles but he's a 29 year old lefty and the the Cards have 3 pending FA from their rotation (Mulder, Suppan, & Marquis). Bue he could be had much cheaper now than on the FA market. Plus, I'm surehe wants to win and could get a discount by St. Louis sticking by him.

Sosa has a great arm but I doubt he'll ever be an effective fulltime starter again. If he can cut down his wildness he'd be a very good RP, imo.
