Langerhans over Sheffield! What?

Postby Madison » Fri Sep 05, 2003 7:59 pm

Who the heck is Langerhans?! Why bench Sheffield for this guy. This stinks! I was all looking forward to a nice double header out of Sheff today and now he's sitting for someone I've never heard of. Sheff doesn't need any rest, he just stands around in the outfield. Lol. :-b

Ok, ok, my little rant is over.........I'm still not happy about it though. :-b
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Playoffs are coming, and Bobby Cox is (for once in his life) thinking ahead. He knows that a team like the gaints (2002) could knock them out.... :-D

With the Braves pretty much having the division locked up, owners of Braves players will probably have to accept the fact that their playing time will be cut down for the rest of the season. They want to rest everyone and have them fresh for the playoffs, so any minor nagging injury at all and they'll be out of the lineup.

He's giving some of the youngsters a shot. Mike Hessman is actually doing pretty well. He's batting .417 with 2 homers in 6 games or so. That's impressive. I think Bobby should let him play everyday instead of the slumping Fick. As for Langerhans....he's worthless in my eyes....
