Does Much of Joel's future rest on his start tonight?

Joel's future with the Mariners is looking , 2 and 2/3s innings in his last start doesn't help. If pinero keeps the Mariners in the game through at least the 6th inning, it will do nothing but help. If the opposite occurs? I don't expect to see Pinero back here next year - not that a whole decision will be made depending on one start, Pinero has been inconsistent the whole year. This may seem like a lot to haul in, but I honeslty think that Pinero won't be back here next year.
