no thats BS. Willis tore up the minors and he is only having a bad second half cuz he is worn down. I would expect a great year next year. Maybe 17-8, 3.00 - 3.50

I expect about a 10-12 record with a 4.60 ERA. He was rushed to the majors and never pitched above AA, so what he does in the low minors can't necessarily be considered an indicator of success. He was never considered the same level of prospect as say Rich Harden either. I also think that the Marlins offense will come back to earth next year too, so he won't get the same run support.

lol, I think ur being a little hard on him jdh. Just take a look at the stats. Pre all star he walked 24 in 82 innings. Post all-star hes walked 22 in 47 innings. I've watched him pitch, he looks like hes getting tired. He's getting behind hitters, and hes forced to throw it over the plate.

And tell em exactly how the marlins offense is overachieving?

Mike Lowell before he got hurt was having a career year, and playing way above any level he's ever played at before. Conine is also having a great year, but his acquisition apparently means the Marlins have to trade away Derek Lee, and I don't think Conine can be counted on to be quite as productive next year as he was this year. Pudge Rodriguez probably won't be back, further diminishing their offense.

C'mon JDH have some faith in the kid. He's not that bad. Yes, the hitters have figured him out, but there is allways room to improve. And I think Dontrelle learned a lot in his first major league season. I can't wait to see this rotation next year.

That was not a surprise with the addition of Pierre and Pudge. If by some chance the Marlins re-sign Pudge, I'll would not be surprised at all if his numbers stay where they are at.

willis is making me look bad right now. we may think he is done but he doesnt think he is done. i dropped him to activate oswalt so i should still be ok though.
