haha johnsamo your officially my favorite member of the cafe , Arroyo is decent, hes no ace though, if you were relying on arroyo to carry your pitching your in a lot of trouble. But if Arroyo was say your 4th or 5th starter you could definately do worse...

I don't know if its fatigue over time or a mental thing, but if it's mental, he's young enough that a good pitching coach could spot the mechanical change and make him more consistant someday.

I thought that it was more of a fatigue issue going into the ASB. Pitching on short rest....and partying hard between games.

Pitching in the park that gives up the most HRs in the majors does not help either. Throw in a mediocre bullpen..which can take take away a few more win opportunites....and one of the hottest summers on record, and it is a recipe for disaster.

I Guess that also coming into play is the fact that hitters had to get used to seeing him also.

I think that I am gonna cut bait and pick up Jason Jennings if he does well tonight.
