15, if you count 'before the modern era' (there were two in 1880). 18, if you count 'unofficial perfect games' (Pedro's 9 innings, Haddix perfect 12 innings, and Ernie Shore entering with player on 1st, picks him off and then is perfect)....or 16 if you count the unofficial ones, and not the non-modern games....<br><br><span class=gensmall>Accepted as answer by demoflauchy on Mon Sep 08, 2003 9:10 am EST.</span>
