He's been overshawdowed by the great Papi, however you cannot ignore the .322 ave, 32 HR, 91 RBI and much improved Defense.. With a solid Aug & Sept.. He could snag it from Papi.. On pace for a .320, 40+ HR, 120+ RBI season.. Nice

Even is he does get more votes than Papi I think they'll sorta cancel each other out.
HR totals have the greatest influence on determining the MVP. Unless Manny goes on a HR tear and Papi drops off then I can't see how Manny could win it.
Am I the only guy that thinks if Manny moved to 3rd and Papi to 4th that Manny would be just as good as he is now, maybe better, and Papi would be worse?

Yes because Ortiz would get walked a lot more without Manny protecting him.
