Will I hold on to first?

H2H 14 cat league. I was up as much as 18 points, that lead has dwindled down to 6!! Do i need to add/drop/trade anyone on my team?

1B- Todd Helton
2B- Soriano
SS- Jeter
3B- Atkins (chipper is on DL)
UT- Ryan Howard
OF- Jermaine Dye, Matt Holiday, Carl Crawford
SP- Johan, Liriano (DL), Jarad Weaver, Maine, Randy J, Mike Mussina, Verlander
RP- Fuentes, Huston Street, Saito, Rincon (for holds)

once maine starts to cool off and play the way he should be playing then you should drop him for a firstbasemen...you should hang onto helton since he is a second half player but at the moment you could probably find someone better then him on the WW

my advice would be to drop maine right now and pick up j. rivera...i grabbed rivera about a week ago and he has been solid for me...the only thing he lacked before this year was playing time and now he is finally getting it...i really like him for the rest of the year and although maine is pitching well right now i feel you should drop him for rivera right away before he is gone and put him in your Utl spot

I'd look to trade Helton and Atkins (once Jones comes back) for either a big bat to put at Util or for one more decent SP. You already have at least 5 very solid pitchers, but I'd move Howard to 1b and either pick up Rivera and plug him in at Util or trade for a bigger bat with Helton, Atkins, and R. Johnson.

I was actually thinking the same when I saw that lineup... No joke man, otherwise I wouldn't be quoting another person on his comment...

But I'll say this in my own words: Like you, I am in 1st place... You do have a good core of pitchers, you could use an extra bat or two, but other than that, I think you'll have nothing to worry about on losing first place... I've been 1st place since April of this year, only lost 1st place once, but have been up anywhere between 3 points and 13 points...
