Neither did I but the rookie cutoff is supposed to be at 50 IP and he only had 40 last year (or does it differ with relief pitchers?)

its 50ip OR a certain number of days on the roster. i dont remember how many days it is but i'd be willing to bet a reliever that got 40ip spent enough days on the major league roster to lose rookie eligibilty.

Boo finese pitchers...

to finese pitchers that can eat up 7+ innings every start and have the poise of a machine. Sowers offers a change of pace from the fireballers and pitches like a veteran. Cleveland has a below average defense and he still does great
Hamels is injury prone and I think he would be especially useful as a guy out of the bullpen that can go a couple innings if need be but also matchup against lefties to get outs when needed.
