Snakes On A Plane--MERGED

Has anyone else seen the previews for the movie and agree that it looks like the largest heaping pile of crap possible?

Die in a fire. This is going to be the greatest movie in history. It makes Citizen Kane look like "Into the Blue".

I was reading Esquire on the newsstand, and I think they hit it right on the head...

You'll recall that the original thread about this movie was titled something to the effect of: "Samuel L. Jackson Will Do Any Movie."

I believe that about sums up the thoughts of the Cafe.

I will say, though, that if it wasn't for this movie, this wouldn't make me laugh:

"We got snakes...

...

...

...

...

...ON A MOTHER PLANE!"

Quite possibly the worst line ever. I love it! :-D

The "Snakes on a Plane" problem

Much like the lyrics to the 1995 song "Peaches," the title Snakes on a Plane defies deconstruction.

LMAO! :-D ;-D

Snakes on a Plane may be better than Little Man.

"From the guys who brought your White Chicks"?!?!? are you serious? Are you trying to lose money?

Maybe this should be a poll: which is worse SOP or Little Man?

Screw SoaP, I'm waiting for the sequels.

"Sharks on a Roller Coaster" and "Bears on a Submarine" are both shaping up to be amazing thrillers.

After reading an interview with Jackson in Maxim I come to the conclusion he is a genius. Basically he made a couple of really good points.

1. Sometimes he just wants to do a fun movie and not challenge himself.
2. SOAP target audience is teens. Why make it PG-13? Make it R and give them what they want.
