Set your email for notify and when Garza becomes available in yahoo, immediately post here to notify others. Please post anything else about Garza in another thread. Leave this one purely for availability notification

i think it going to be awhile...usually what happens is he'll make a start or two then yahoo will set a date for him to come off waivers...it probably will be at least a week before we can get him :-t

I believe Garza will be available on waivers on Yahoo a few days after his first start on Friday. That's just from my experience in waiting for Hamels, Jered Weaver, Billingsley, Carlos Quentin, et. al. this season. It'll take a while. Start hunting for Garza on Sunday or even Monday, assuming he's still slated for Friday.

That's a crock though. I have emailed Yahoo twice today and they said they had forwarded my request to their stat provider.

Cole Hamels was up THE DAY he was going to start. He wasn't in the universe in the pre-season, and he was nowhere to be found the day before he got the call.

If they know Garza's getting the call, Yahoo should be prompt enough to get him in the universe yesterday so he could clear waivers in enough time.

They set precedent with Hamels, and I'll hammer Yahoo until I'm blue in the face on this one....You should too.

Why do we have to hear this everytime a prospect gets called up? They will be added whenever they're added. You guys know Yahoo isn't on top of things. :-P

Vaughn: What's that sh*t on your chest?

Harris: Crisco, Bardol, Vagisil. Any one of them will give you another two to three inches drop on your curve ball.
