Pick 2 Weekend Starters: Eaton, Johnson, Willis, Cruz?

Postby kcs261 » Thu Sep 04, 2003 5:56 pm

Of these four, I need to start two of these guys at the bottom of my rotation this weekend. My other starters are Pedro, Santana, Miller, and Washburn. Which two do I go with?

Eaton vs Hou (Hernandez) - Pads hot, but Houston is tough.
Jason Johnson vs Seattle (Meche) - Seattle cold?
Willis at Montreal (Vaz) - Vaz is pitching great
Juan Cruz at Mil (Sheets) -- Sleeper pick. Do I gamble like this in September when I'm neck and neck for first place? I'm tempted.

Johnson and Cruz.
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

A bunch of gamblers, eh? Allright, Cruz it is. I wanted to do it myself. But I didn't want to push my luck. If he grabs Estes' rotation spot, he could really be a nice grab down the stretch. The guy is a K machine. By the way, I've now opened a 2-game lead in my h2h league. Show me the money! ;-D
