Guiel killed him. 3-3 with a homer for a lefty that Johnson is supposed to dominate. I could not see him today, but his knee did not look close to 100% last time he was out vs. the Giants.

He's clearly not the same from his knee surgery and probably won't be of any use the rest of the year. I wouldn't even start him at this point until he puts together a solid start or two. No way he's a first or second rounder next year unless he looks great in spring training, but he'll probably be treated in drafts like Kevin Brown was this year, a middle rounds risk.

I've been trying to tell the guy in my league who owns RJ that he's on his way down... Give it up, he's not the RJ of old...

He was my first round pick, (#3 overall). I was going to pick Randy or Pujols. Oh, what might have been... :,-(

Maybe next season he will be able to have a miraculous rebound to form. But, I seriously doubt it at his age. He should just retire.

I'd give him one more shot next year. Remember, he is coming off five monsterous years before this one.

Yes!!! The D-Back just tied the score 4-4. Randy can't lose this game now.

Yeah, I'd draft him next year, but only if he falls to about the 5th round. I would rate RJ next year about the same as Brown going into this year, huge risk-reward pick that you don't want to take too early.
