Thi smight not be the answer you're looking for, but I think that this is pretty even, considering the saves available as free agents. It really depends on Dunn: if he plays like he has the last couple days, you're giving up too much (I'm assuming standard 5x5 roto, non-keeper, by the way); if he plays like he did until recently, it's a good deal. If his numbers are in the middle ground, the deal is very close, and will probably depend on details such as:
Does Big Frank qualify at 1b? This would give that side of the deal a big boost.
What about Pujols and Nevin? Where do they qualify?
Do you expect Anderson to be a starter all season long, or are you just riding a hot streak?
Anyway, if I were forced to make an on-the-spot decision, I'd probably acept the trade, but it's awfully close.
Being able to pick up Julio, or someone else, makes this deal look a little sweeter. but this is a tough decision. Big Frank doesn't qualify at 1B in most leagues, but if he does in yours, you could do all kinds of things!
Unfortunately, that guy has cancelled his offer just when I was decided to accept it...
It's yahoo public h2h league so Frank is not eligible at 1b, Pujols is eligible at 3b, 1b & OF, Nevin at 3b & 1b.
Anyway, thanks!
Id take it. Wickman isnt really worth much, and neither is Thomas. I would take A-rod for Dunn and Nomar anyday. One of your bench guys will be able to fill in well enough for Dunn to make it worth your while.
