Does anyone else hate the way most players wear their pants all the way done to their shoes? They look like they are wearing PJs. They suck! Look at Bonds as an example of what I am talking about. A few do wear their pants higher but no one has high stir-ups anymore. Bring back the high stir-ups.

manny ramirez is the worst...although there was a game a couple weeks ago where he pulled them up, and i swear he looked like he was hustling. stir-ups elicit hustle.

I like the way Soriano and Willis wear their pant legs up. Old School...

The other night I was watching game 4 of the 1984 NLCS and everyone had high stir-ups. It was great to see that and see Tony Gwynn when he was young and skinny!

People forget that Tony once stole 56 bases in 1987.

I always liked Gwynn. You're right, I didn't know he thiefed 56 bags in '87. That was the days of 100+ steals for quite a few folks.

Tony is one of the few players that didn't lift weights. He'd still be playing if he had kept his weight down. He retired becasue of his bad knees.
