Who plays where in LA when Nomar gets back?

I'm a Jeff Kent owner & am obviously really happy with his first game last night.

My question is who gets left out playing time wise once Nomar comes back?

Nomar or Kent at 1B?

Kent or Lugo at 2B?

Furcal at SS

Betemit, Nomar or even Lugo at 3B?

If I was the Dodgers, I'd play Garciaparra at 3B, if he can handle it, Furcal at SS, Lugo at 2B and Kent at 1B. Not sure what to do w/ Betemit but maybe try him in LF or have him pinch hit.

I read somewhere today that Lugo and Kent will platoon at 2B. I just don't see that happening. Betemit is a valuable guy off the bench, so he may end up on the bench again. I think Lugo will slide over to 3B.

1. Furcal - SS
2. Lugo - 3B
3. Garciaparra - 1B
4. Kent - 2B
5-8. Everyone else
9. Pitcher

Seems like Betemit could be the odd man out in the infield once again.

It makes me wonder why the heck they traded for Lugo in the first place. Did they not forsee this logjam and mixing/matching infielders out of position? Ugh, what a nightmare. Maybe another injury and it works out but in one league I was kinda counting on Betemit playing every day from here on out.

Dodgers manager Grady Little met with newly acquired infielder Julio Lugo on Friday to gauge his willingness to play the outfield, something he has done just 14 times in his career and not at all since 2001.

Although the move isn't definite, Lugo agreed to make it if asked.

With left fielder Andre Ethier a Rookie of the Year candidate and veteran J.D. Drew a fixture in right, that would seem to leave only center field for Lugo.

Apparently Lugo wll be used as a utility player. When an IF needs a day off, he will spell them. If it is Furcal, Lugo plays SS. If it is Kent, Lugo plays 2B. If it is Nomar, Lugo plays 2B and Kent plays 1B. Otherwise, Lugo will play CF, apparently platooning with Kenny Lofton...

Though, with Lugo not hitting, he may play himself out of this problem...

I really wish they didn't trade for Lugo. He was completely unnecessary, as they had their ideal infield in Betemit, Furcal, Kent, Nomar, when all are healthy. It's especially disappointing to me, as a Lugo owner, because now I need a replacement SS when Nomar comes back.
