Milton Bradley, on the DL with a back injury, now faces a court appearance in Cuyahoga Falls after being charged with speeding through the city and leading police on a brief chase over the Labor Day weekend.
Bradley was doing 52 in a 25 mph zone in his Lexus around three in the morning Saturday. It gets better. After being stopped and cited, the officer handed Bradley the citation to sign, and Bradley sped away. ''I did attempt to stop the vehicle again and Mr. Bradley refused to stop for my lights and audible siren,'' patrolman Edwin Dennis noted in his incident narrative. Bradley flew to California Wednesday to meet with a back specialist and his return this month is indefinite. GM Mark Shapiro couldn't comment on the incident because he hadn't previously heard of it and hadn't talked to Bradley. Source: Akron Beacon-Journal
