I'm joining a league where each person first picks a ML team. Then they are able to take any 5 players from that team to start their team with, then a normal draft is conducted excluding these 5 from each team that are already taken. Oh, and it's a keeper league where you keep 5 guys.

of the teams available, I narrowed it down to 3 that are pretty promising as far as getting 5 real good young players and they are:

LAA
TB
LAD

If you could take any 5 from these teams, first which TEAM would you chose, then which 5 would you take from that team.

Thanks for the input guys, this should be a fun one to discuss.

None of those would be on my list, but of the three the Angels would be my pick.

K-Rod
Lackey

If you made those your first 5 picks in a normal draft (or even a normal keeper draft) you would get laughed at.

I would much rather be looking at
Pedro
Delgado
Beltran
Reyes
Wright

They're taken...teams that are taken: yanks, redsox, tigers, marlins, braves,mets,twins,phillies

Im thinking angels:

Vlad

Lackey
K Rod
Figgins

I agree with the Angels - but instead of Figgins, I'd take Jer Weaver.

What about the White Sox. I know these guys are not very young, but you should get at least 3 or 4 good years out of all of them.

Lee may not be there, so i may not be able to keep him...also there isnt one pitcher worth taking there, which scares me
