Aug 7 Spencer Fordin, of Baltimore.Orioles.MLB.com, reports Baltimore Orioles SP Erik Bedard is expected to need an extra day of rest and the team will likely call up SP Daniel Cabrera to pitch Tuesday, Aug. 8.

just thought you all would like to know since the oriols have been expected to recall cabrera for a while now...doubt he's worth a pick up since he would be facing the blue jays but you never know he is very talented

he pitched a very good game tonight...7 innings, 5 hits, 1 ER, and 7 K's against the Blue Jays 8-o ...maybe he's worth a look after all

decided to pick him up hoping he does this the rest of the season. He pitched a really good game tonight against the blue jays and that is a tough outing for him pitching against that type of hitting for his first game back in the majors from triple A.

Carbrea has good stuffs, everyone knows it but I would wait and see if he gain more control. His problem is he simply walk way too many batters. If he can cut his walks by 2 or 3 a game, he will be one of the top pitcher for the 2nd half.
