I want to hit McKeon really hard for this garbage.

Urbina has been lights out in the second half and Looper has been absolutely terrible. In a pennant race it's about what have you done lately, not what have you done three months ago, so clearly Looper deserves to lose his job. Opponents are batting for twice the average against him as Urbina. Who would you want closing in a tight game?

Fine, if that's what McKeon wants to do, then he should announce it. Otherwise, all he's doing is pissing on Looper (as well as any fantasy player who owns him, even though that's obviously the last thing on McKeon's mind).

Well, what I think he might be doing is moving to having Urbina and Looper be co-closers. In his previous managerial stints, MacKeon has liked having multiple closers, sometimes doing multi-inning saves, based on matchups and who is hot. It wouldn't be surprising at all if that's what he'll go with here. Of course, that absolutely sucks for fantasy owners.
Another confusing closer situation. Why am I not surprised by this? Lol.
