#1 waiver on Garza?

Postby FalcoAtL » Mon Aug 07, 2006 2:05 am

I feel that I could use the help with my pitching and considering my offensive depth I think that Garza is a great choice. I'm just not sure if Gordon is too much of a talent to pass up. Considering that fact that my pitching is pretty weak with Patterson and Sheets hurt, is Garza the smart choice or should I wait until Sept. to get Gordon?

Garza is way riskier than Gordon. Hyped a bit too much

Wait for Gordon!

I agree, you want Gordon. Not to say that Garza is the flavor of the week - he has been dominating all season - just Gordon appears to be that special.

Matt Garza hasn't failed anywhere he has chucked the ball and this season his comet-like rise to AAA is unreal. Why? Because he is legit.

Despite what Chuck D and Public Enemy say...believe the hype!!

Gordon is definetely the better prospect but is he going to get the callup? For that reason I think Gordon is actually the riskier choice

I was under the impression that Gordon wasnt going to get a callup this year... even in September. I may be wrong but if thats the case who are candidates for the #1 waiver along with Garza?

if you HAVE to have Gordon called up for it to be worth it. Go with Garza, just don't expect him to be an ace in the majors. Gordon is by far the better prospect
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.

No one right now. Its for Yahoo, so not even Garza is on there yet. I'm just saying down the road, who is the better pick based on my roster needs? Is there someone else I should get besides Gordon or Garza?
