he will stay up for at least another couple starts, from there it depends on what he does. they dont want him to have 2 terrible months in the mlb or something, but they want him to seize the rotation spot.

also, doing some detective work the ranger board i go to saw that volquez has a notch or two lower arm angle when throwing the changeup instead of fastball.

that could be a problem if someone picks up on that.

his curve was actually better then i expected tonight but he only threw a few of them.
