I remember quite a bit of naysaying on Huff this year on this forum, but I look at my 1B production this year and I sure wish I had Huff (who is on my chief rival's team that is now in first place by 9 roto points.) Huff should easily better .300/30/100 this year - already he has HR#28 tonight.

Huff is a stud. The only reason he doesn't get more respect is because he is a D-Ray. He is one of the few guys that hasn't left my lineup all season long. Not bad for an 18th round draft pick. He'll easily hit 100 RBIs and 30 HRs. The best indicator to me that this guy is 100% legit is that the guy rarely Ks.

ooops! Guess I should have checked for posts before I raved about his hot streak.
FYI since 8/21 (12 games)
23 of 43 for a .535 average, 8 HR, 21 RBI's.

Yeah, some idiot in my league waived him for Rob Macowiak the second week of the season. I snatched him up and he has been very consistent and productive ever since. Getting to 100 RBIs on such a lousy team is a huge accomplishment; if he was in the Yankees or Red Sox lineup, he'd have around 130 by now. He seems kind of like a Mike Sweeney-type 1B, only one that will come for much cheaper in drafts even next year probably.

Okay, but the fact that Rocco Baldeli got selected over Huff is still ridiculous.

I wouldn't say ridiculous.
His power hitting will come as he matures and MEATS up a bit .. cough cough... enhancements.
