Yahoo scoring/ stat tracker messed up again?

Postby Midnight_Toker » Sun Aug 06, 2006 2:11 pm

I'm looking over the box scores on yahoo and they are all messed up again (wrong players on different teams getting hits for other team, scoring, etc, etc) Why does this seem to happen to yahoo like once a week now? Is anyone else getting these errors?

Yes, every Sunday. It's like it happens when the staff aren't there to monitor the system. Rios just batted Thome in, by the way. :-D

Yeah, it gets frustrating at times. I go to check C Patt...

Top 1st: NY Yankees
- D. Jeter homered to deep right
- M. Mora homered to deep right
- C. Patterson homered to deep right

wow...when did he and Mora get dealt to the Yanks?
And instead, he sacrificed to pitcher.... :-t way to get my hopes up

Agreed, seems like it's a Sunday thing. In any event, its unacceptable.

The root of the problem is that every Saturday night, after all the games are finished, Yahoo rewards the chimps with a case of beer each. The chimps are then too hungover every Sunday to do accurate work.

Oh yeah, I use Fox Sports every Sunday as a result. Appartently they actually employ human beings instead of poorly trained chimps.

Just forget about the stattracker and use MLB.com Gameday. Same information except you need to look for your players. It's always worked for me. ;-D

I use MLB Gameday as well to track the games. ;-D

I actually only use Stattracker once all the games are over to see how my teams did for the day, without having to wait until the next day. Then again, I play roto leagues, so it's not that big of a deal. H2H leaguers have a much bigger need for Stattracker to work properly (I played a H2H league last year), so I understand their frustration.

Thanks man, I'm using it now too. Just like yahoo's -- but more reliable! ;-D
