Lidle stinks. He's at best a 4th starter when he's going well.

Really. He was gotten as a 5th starter to replace Ponson. And he has in the past proven to be a decent enough 4th starter.
And Rhodes complaining about a guy not knowing how to win is pretty hilarious. Isn't that ball Justice hit off of him in 2000 still going? Isn't he like 0-4 with a near 9 ERA in ALCSs over the years?

Yea and then Billy the goat Wagner calls him a coward for making comments after he left Philly. Funny because Wagner did the same thing after he left Philly

Isnt it worse to make degrading comments while you are still there, rather than while you are leaving. If you make the comments when you are leaving, it looks like payback, not heartfelt feelings.

Yeah well I will be the first one to commend Wagner for having the guts to let Philly management have it while still there. That being said, if all he is complaining about is that Lidle is taking his shots on the way out the door, so what? Lidle is not Wagner either. It is easier to be courageous and challenge your boss when you are All-Star Billy Wagner. 5th starter Cory Lidle is not going to be as easily tolerated by management.
