These things (torneys) are like presidential elections. You've just got to dumb down your stuff enough so that it appeals to the masses.

Oh ya graphics sites.. WCRemix is the BEST place on the net for sports walls if you're into that. BBC has good bball walls and sigs. NFL-FVR has fantastic nfl sigs. I don't know if they even do walls period though heh.

Aside from the tourney, though, all I see is the same stuff. Furthermore, the fact that I was second guessing my choice to deviate from the norm with my submission rests uneasy with me. Would people truthfully rather judge 2 sigs that look like they could've been done by the same person, trying to do the same thing, but on different days, or two radically different ideas, both graphically well done, but straying from the same ol' same ol'??

I dunno, I guess I'm just tired of seeing the same effects, same layouts, same styles, etc. I'm running with a new idea this round -- not nearly as different as my Round 1 sig, but... well, you'll see.

I don't think that any of us dumbed anything down, and to imply that the viewers are that simple is really not true.

I don't do the same stuff in every sig I make, but I do try to keep a style that I have for the time being.. doesn't mean it's less creative. I never look at other sigs when I'm making a new one, and I never re-use cuts.

I thought a lot of them were very creative.

I gotta agree with Hort here. I get pretty tired of the fancy brushwork sigs that are so prevalant around here.
