Heres another article, written earlier this year. They said his ETA for the majors was 2008 lol. This was before his performance in the minors was seen though.

dude what are you freakin out about. At this point you wouldn't be able to get him before his start this week. Not too mention theres nothing you can do sooooo why not just enjoy what he does this week and when he gets added he gets added...

What are you talking about? It doesn't even look like he's available on waivers yet?

it doesnt matter for yahoo. They get added to waivers, which you'd only lose out if you have a low one anyways.

verdict?

Postby CBV » Mon Aug 14, 2006 10:29 am

7 earned runs. yikes.

where do you guys stand on this kid? he didnt get picked up in my league...

im thinking about dropping the horrible jamie moyer for him. i dont start moyer anyways, he is more of an emergency start guy for me. right now i like Garza's upside. i think he comes back strong next outing.

yea or nay?

i say yea. if he gets lit up again next start then its catch and release time.
Vaughn: What's that sh*t on your chest?

Harris: Crisco, Bardol, Vagisil. Any one of them will give you another two to three inches drop on your curve ball.

Thats how I see it too - alot of fantasy projectors predicted that Garza would be shelled on his first start - so I am not jumping the gun on him - but if he does get lite up a 2nd time.................
Help me out here? : http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=2321827#2321827

No one in my 4 leagues (one has 18 teams) used a waiver claim to get him. I picked him up in 3 of my leagues and plan to use my good waiver claim priority on Hirsh.

hmmm just one outting and you think hes not worth a good waiver spot?? I think at this point it definately is, because its so late there's most likely not going to be anything better later on. Who do you guys thinks will be better this year Garza or Hirsh?
