For reasons only Tony La Russa understands, he is bringing Woody Williams into the game in a save situation. Even if Izzy isn't available, why in the world would you put in a starter that threw over 100 pitches two days ago?
I had mixed emotions since I've got him active on one of my rosters. Now I just don't like it unless he can vulture a win out of it.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I really did not need this unexpected surprise today.

Dammit, he got Sammy out with a man on third and one out. I wanted Sammy to at least get a sac fly. :(
Woody's in line for the loss now. Alou just singled Grudzielanek home, for his fifth run batted in.
Is the Cards' bullpen that thin? Or, is this game that important? I've heard of SPs entering in critical situations, like Walter Johnson in the World Series back then. But, that was the World Series. This is a regular season game, though they are in the thick of a Wild Card race.

I've got Alou as well, so the 5/5 with 2 runs, hr, 4 rbi is nice, but I really wish Woody hadn't come into the game.
