Blake was helped off the field, but it did not look to be too serious as he was putting some weight on the foot. He will likely be taken for X-rays, but we'll figure him as day to day at this point until tests determine if there is more severe damage.

If Blake is forced to the DL, the Indians would likely call up Ryan Garko to see time at first base.

The Indians will reportedly place Casey Blake (ankle) on the disabled list Tuesday.
The team initially said Blake was day-to-day, but he was using crutches after the injury, so it never looked good. Cleveland could call up Ryan Garko from Triple-A, although they seem hesitant to do so.

Indians placed first baseman-outfielder Casey Blake on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Aug. 6, with a sprained right ankle.
It's too bad Blake has had multiple injuries derail what has been a pretty terrific season. Ryan Garko is up to replace Blake and will share time with Victor Martinez at first base. Hector Luna may become the platoon partner for Shin-Soo Choo in right field.
