Both of these guys will be great pitchers. But I like Garza a little bit more

A Yankee fan saying Garza? I think I just entered the twilight zone ... ;-7

Anyways Hughes and Bailey are the top pitching prospects in the minors for me.

I think Hughes has a higher ceiling, too. He's putting up similar numbers to Garza at the same levels and he's two years younger than Garza was at those levels.

Man, I thought Hughes was #1 now. I guess I really had that high an opinion of Bailey though.

So Bailey is the real deal? This is what the Reds need, a pitcher. They need another starter to help out Harang and Arroyo, or they could stick him in the middle relief spot where they are getting killed. Hopefully they'll call him up next year...

Everything that I have read has Bailey and Hughes clearly ahead of the pack.

Though, with Garza's utter dominance lately, I'm guessing he's closing the gap a bit.

Also, Garza is probably a year closer to the majors than Hughes or Bailey, but they are two years younger, which a pretty big difference maker.
